Want to know what Zero Waste means in Real Life?

Then watch this video and learn how a meat production company in Chicago is transforming itself into a “cradle to cradle” food production plant, where no “waste” is wasted.

What does this mean?

It’s simple: The scrap from one cycle becomes the raw materials of the next … from Kombucha tea, to fresh vegetables, to tilapia, to beer.

Well, not necessarily in that order, but you get the picture.

Sure, there are some unanswered questions, like how are they dealing with or using the CO2 produced from beer fermentation, or the CO2 off gas from production of their Kombucha tea?

Still, watch this video and discover how one company is changing the way we think … and the way we do things.

Thanks, TodaysGreenMinute for the great video!
