Earth in Transition Guest Post Guidelines
So you want to write a guest post for this series? Great!
Here are some easy guidelines to follow ...
PREPARATION:
- Read our “What’s Your Story” post to discover what we’re looking for in this Earth in Transition series.
- Make sure your story hasn’t already been covered in this series.
- Fresh new ideas and high-quality content are key.
- No copyright infringement allowed!
- Please remember that affiliate links can’t be published.
- Write for our readers, not search engines.
WRITING:
- Don’t use anyone’s voice but your own!
- Best length is between 350 and 800 words. If you must write a longer post, let’s talk. We’ll figure something out.
- Don’t forget about quality. It’s important. Anything less will not be published.
- Include a great headline (also body text and byline)!
- Provide all links and link text you want to include in your post. Go ahead and include links to helpful resources, but don’t go overboard.
- Submit your post in HTML format for pasting into WordPress.
- Include at least one good photo (maximum length 500 px). If it’s copyrighted, make sure you get publishing rights. Otherwise we can’t use it.
- We reserve the right to lightly edit your post to insure its success.
BYLINE:
- Include a short bio on who you are and what you do. Go ahead and include links to your website and/or social media accounts … your choice.
- We always put bylines at the end of our posts. That’s where yours will be if we publish your post.
WHERE TO SEND YOUR POST:
- Name your file “FrontlineCopy ET Guest Post – your name here – topic name here”.
- Submit it as an attached file to faith@frontlinecopy.com.
